year 2010 was ..... well i can't find the correct word to describe it. i'll rate it 6/10. hahahah. pretty pathetic. =/

to summarise 2010 ;

wealth : did too much shopping! seriously, money is never enough. broke forever! hahahaha.

health : as fit as a fiddle! not much major sickness - except for superficial injuries like cuts on foreheads and legs etc

work/job : used to enjoy working, i still enjoyed my work but everything's starting to change with different people managing ...

relationship : gotten closer with close friends, made many many wonderful and caring friends in my current company. :D

shout-out to the following people even though they might never get to read it -

the girls (ry shing my sw cia sharon) - thank you girls for always being there! all the trips made our memories more (be it positive or negative) :D may it continue even for the next 10 years and more ...

it's already september! how fast. somehow year 2010 seem to pass by really fast! the long weekend was spent eating supper and shopping with my colleague for some local delights to bring back to their home.

september is gonna be a busy month, with training and 2 audit coming up. grrrrrrrr. but it's way better because when i get busy with work, i do not have time to think about silly stuffs :D recently i am feeling really restless (okay crap, tarot aunty better not be right!) and the only thing im looking forward to is next year. yesyes been secretly discussing some major event with my bestie for year 2011 and just hope for the best!

boss is finally back from japan! work is boring without boss around because there isn't anyone there throwing work at me. hohoho. i need to be busy or else i'd start brooding and thinking of irritating silly stuffs. =/ and being the boss who knows me well, he decides to give me homework when he's in japan so i would not get bored! hohoho

& love love love love love! i simply love this chocolate to bits ever since i tried it for the first time few months back! and boss is so nice to bring one box back for me when he went back to japan! :D

yamada-san is from the main branch in japan. hohoho. a really really nice and interesting man who always said it's the last time he's coming to singapore and he never want to set foot on singapore again but he's here again.

& whats with japanese and their strong tolerance for alcohol?! everyone of them can drink sooooo well!

in love relationship, there is a fine line between pleasure and pain. in fact, its a common belief that a relationship without pain is a relationship not worth having. to some, pain implies growth. but how do we know when the growing pain stops and the real pain take over? are we masochist or optimist if we continue to walk that fine line? when it comes to relationship, how do you know when enough is enough?

work is very very tiring (this few days) due to raw material problem resulting in so much quality issues but yet, im still in love with my job. i cant say im 100% happy there because of some colleagues and culture issues but im glad with what im doing now.

sometimes working hard isnt for that extra money, that rise in position or anything. but maybe just for that sentence or word which is enough to brighten up your day; makes you feel that all the hard work you've gone through is worth it.

180710 - 23rd birthday celebration @ sushi tei

pre-celebration this year as usual was with my lovely girls :D thank you girls for the gigantic birthday card! it was awesome!

despite it being my birthday month, july is a bad bad month as my eyes' been giving me loads of problems!

on the actual day of my birthday, some of my colleagues bought me a cake along with ben and jerry's strawberry cheesecake ice-cream and sang me a birthday song! it was those simple gesture that made me really happy. thank you all! & on that day itself i realised that one day after my birthday is my GM's Arimoto-san's birthday!

was really thankful for his birthday wish as well as the birthday wish from my boss; Nakaniwa-San!

am soooooo happy upon seeing "far far away"! shrek can be considered one of my few favourite movies! and i bought my favourite gingerbread man stuff toy! :D love it to bits! hehe.

birthday approaching in less than a week! happy happy to be meeting up with old friends! loads of catching up to do!

nanny's condition is not improving, most of the time after work are dedicated to her, chatting with her, changing diapers for her & washing her up. now i really do have an admiration for all the nurses out there, it's indeed not easy looking after a person.

back to school! thanks to this school that i met my lovely girls 10 years ago & now we're all leading different life but the bond between us just keeps increasing. more adventures & more overseas trip, yeah? :D

truth is, i havent been feeling great lately. nanny's been acting weird, not remembering things and all. got her to the hospital early this week and the result's out - doctor said there's a tumor in her head and she have only 2-3months left.

while visiting her yesterday i just couldnt control my tears. seeing her suffering pains me. even little brother cried. im not sure how everyone of us is handling it, its scary how a person can just change in a short time & how things can just happen so suddenly. we can never be fully prepared, can we? the thought of losing really scares me.

work was uber fun today. i had fun dismantling those small units in the machine. seriously am thinking of changing department. less desk bound and more technical stuffs = i like i like!

i bet i'll be "injured" more often with those technical stuffs. just the other day i got a deep cut on my thigh despite wearing jeans and i've absolutely no idea i was hurt till i saw it. i'm immune to pain already (physically)! let's hope i'll get immune t pain caused by emotions. :p

i've just endured through a tiring 5.5 days work week! working is cool! i LOVE my job (kind of). hahaha.

just a week++ ago, my body clock's beyond repair - sleeping at 10am in the morning and waking up at 6pm! BUT now i'm proud to say there's never been a day this week where i go to bed after midnight! hahaha. the feeling is kinda great, waking up early in the morning and not during noon time! :D

work was interesting, i learnt new stuffs everyday as im kinda new to the engineering stuffs but i can say im quite enjoying it. :D

colleague - so far so good
working hour - 8am to 5pm! (it's a bliss reaching home at 6pm!) hahaha

it's such a beautiful sunday. i missed the prata at the shophouses beside sembawang shopping centre! argh. that would have been a nice breakfast to complete my beautiful sunday. :D

oh i received the sweetest surprise this morning! mcdonald breakfast delivered to my door-step! sweet leh! i immediately sms shing for i thought it was her who ordered the breakfast for me (out of guilt for not eating breakfast with me). what a disappointment, shing!

rise of a serial killer in yishun?!

the police have released a photofit of the man who attacked a 23-year-old female healthcare worker.
she was jogging at the khatib Bongsu park connector in yishun avenue 9, opposite ITE yishun, on 2 Feb at around 11 am.

the assailant is still at large.

the attacker is described as a local chinese man, aged 30 to 40, with a tanned complexion. on 29 Jan, the first victim, known only as Madam Huang, was stabbed at Block 172, Yishun Avenue 7, about 1.5km from where the jogger was attacked. like the jogger, Madam Huang was also slashed on her hands, back and neck.

had an uber tiring day! the fact that i slept for only about 4 hours the night before makes it even tiring along with the travelling to and fro outram. yesyes i went for a job interview today! hopefully i can get a new job, SOON!

steamboat + cake cutting session @ home. i had to rush home from outram after my interview thingy @ 6pm+ DUHHHHHHH! met up with shing at somerset and we took the train home together and we cam-whore awhile with her new polaroid camera before heading home (haha did i just say i was rushing home?)

looking back, 2009 wasnt that bad a year afterall. haha. i learnt the importance of the word "cherish" and i was punished in a way because i was too focused on what others say instead of following my heart. it is impossible to please everyone, so am just not gonna care what others will say and do whatever i think is right and makes me happy.

& one other freaky thing is i had a near-death experience (or so i thought ) at the beach in desaru! the waves were really really horrible but shing and i were so in love with kayaking that we decided to kayak out and we capsized like 8846583893 times. haha. the final straw was when i got trapped in the sea cause the kayak was directly on top of me and i couldnt push or swim my way out. i really thought im gonna drown to death. ): after like 30mins (ONLY!) of kayaking or rather capsizing, shing and i decided to jet-ski despite our injuries (jet-ski uber funnnnnn by the way HEHE).

this week i've been sleeping really really late for almost everyday. supper with the amoeba redcross gang till 3am and void deck chill out session with shing and ry. haha. my complexion's gonna be so CUI! ): im so tempted to get the SK II miracle treatment. WAHAHAHA. yes shing, im still contemplating. =p

work was tiring but that's all i have during daytime to keep my mind from negative thoughts.

my long awaited season 9 is finally here (bah! no subtitles again!) but im still happy! :D

work was fun. not as much orders as compared to last week. the feeling of being able to crack jokes and laugh at lame stuffs, making fun of each other and talking rubbish every single minute made the working environment really enjoyable. im glad all 3 of my colleagues are fun people. :D

it's been a while since i last updated, i haven't really been in the mood. have been stuggling through some emotional roller coaster. i'm officially the most stupid girl on earth. seriously. i realise that my actions hurt so many people in my life. when will i learn to grow up? let's hope this is a learning lesson for me. i have truly woken up to my sense. thank you to everyone who bothered talking to me and guiding me. a decision have to be made somehow. there's no absolute and happy ending for every single one.

work is too boring nowadays, counting down to my last day. ORD mood, totally no mood or motivation to go to work. good news is, i've found another job already! it's at clementi though... but i heard there's shuttle bus services in yishun! :D pay isn't that fantastic but im totally fine with it! it's all about the learning experience. new environment (a friendly one, hopefully) and hopefully, new friends who's willing to go to lunch together with me! im so afraid to eat lunch alone. HAHA.

a week ago, had our so called team dinner @ miramir hotel's ikoi japanese restaurant. the food was ... okay. everyone was swooning over the salmon, but too bad, i do not like salmon at all. =p

damn, my eyelid is really really swollen now. felt like something is stuck in there =/ went to doctor chong cause i was really in pain. imagine just blinking your eyes and you can feel the pain. closing my eyes is worse. the doctor kept "flipping" my eyes here and there looking for the foreign particle but in the end after numerous "flipping", nothing came out! gosh, my eyes felt even worse after visiting him. =/ he gave me an eye drop but ... i didnt dare to use it. =/ somehow, i have this weird phobia towards eye drops.

through recent happenings at work, i began to feel really disappointed, really. blame me for my old fashion beliefs or whatsoever, it just felt so wrong.

baby drove me to the zoo! the weather was really hot but we're glad it's not raining!

this year's christmas gathering (20 December) with the girls was at this "rakuzen" japanese restaurant at millenia walk. i think its affiliated with sushi tei or so cause when we were about to make payment, the service staff asked if we have any sushi tei membership card. personally i still prefer sushi tei! afterall they have my favourite mentaiyaki there. :D

slept till 2pm-ish today. was sooooo reluctant to get out of bed. just the thought of going to orchard later on is tiring enough. just think of all the crowds. =/ i have no choice but to force myself to go! afterall i have yet to get anything for the gift exhange at my workplace. =/

but the happy thing is .... i'll probably settle b's birthday/christmas present once and for all today so i wont have to keep worrying about it. :D let's hope the stock's still there.

i kinda' feel envious when i see people mugging hard for their exams. i have not been doing that (by that i meant seriously mugging hard) since ... o'level. yes, like 5 years ago. i wonder if my brain would just shrink till it just disappear one day.

nanny's here. she always bought lots of food. as a granddaughther, i do my duty to eat whatever she force down my throat else she probably thought im anorexic or something.

and then i'll probably RE-WATCH csi from season one onwards since im like sooooooo soooooo bored bored bored bored bored and lazy to go out cause of all those blisters on my feet. i bought this pair of lovely white flats and asked for size 39 but that salesperson gave me size 40 and i just walked out of the shop without even checking. i thought wearing shoes that fit would give you blisters, turns out that shoes bigger than your foot size would get you blisters too. =/

happy deepavali!

im a happy girl today. i specifically took leave today just so i can have a good good sleep at home but i got woken up by duncan at like 11am+ and i can't get myself back to dreamland after tossing and turning for like an hour or so.

spent the whole day watching CSI (i only watch the las vegas version) hahaha. they crime scenes are always sooooo cool, i doubt you'll ever find such crime scene in singapore (which is good in a sense).

past week at work was horrible ...

1. duncan and warren had a change of seats and im sooooo lonely because i cant make fun and talk to the 2 of them anymore!

2. that new admin guy they hired was ......... i dont know what to say. hopefully he's gonna improve.

3. i got involved in some kinda work dispute which involves the customer. seriously when andy called me i was like "ahhhhhh what have i gotten myself into!" glad that its settled in the end but i still feel bad for the sales consultant who got involved in it.

4. had a bad bad quarrel with warren. it was so obvious that the TL had to ask eugene to step in to talk to us. =/ well, im glad we're back to normal now. at least we do understand each other more. seriously, like what eugene said, we're the kind of clique that understand each other without having to say out how we feel about each other. im glad i have such great friends there who even bother to scold me and pull me back from the wrong track.

i love my friends in SH! its funny how we got into all kinds of "shits". haha since they're such precious people to me, i figured its good to show their face here!

booooo! it rained almost every single day that we're there. luckily we still managed to enjoy the theme park. space shot was the best haha especially the moment when you're at your highest and you dont know when they're gonna release you. WOWWOW. i was screaming my guts out.

hello people! i've just went through the most horrible week of 2008. fancy getting 3 days mc in a week. HAHA.

all thanks to food poisoning! well those who know me well enough would know that my ultimate fear is puking and to get food poisoning is such a torture to me =/ the toilet became my best friend overnight. horrible, real horrible. ): the kfc chicken i ate that day's probably the main cause since thats the only thing i've eaten that day. cool, im gonna stay away from kfc for the next 6 months. =p

went to suwei's 21st birthday chalet after work yesterday! they're so nice to prepare porridge for me knowing that i can't eat anything else other than that. thanks so much! (:

chatted till 12am plus and some of us shared cab home. ruiyu and me got pretty freaked out when the cab passed by 349 (well the 349 murder case in yishun). its pretty scary knowing that some murder case happened in your neighbourhood =/ i'll have to walk pass that block everytime if i take bus 806. im never gonna take 806 for quite some times i guess.

nintendo WII is uber fun (well, only if there's people playing with you).

had loads of fun playing over at FAT's crib thanks to warren who's kind enough to lend us his wii. heh the 3 of us practically went crazy upon seeing warren's wii character (what with those nerdy specs and giant mole). =/ played tennis, bowling and fishing and there's this game which asked you to identify two identical characters and all which got the both of them crazy. LOL

somehow, i kinda miss studying. ever since july, i've been feeling so jaded over work... and its not improving, its getting rather worse. imagine getting pissed every single day at work (okay,its probably just my lousy temper) but still it don't feel nice.

im lost. i dont know what i want in life. the longer i've lived, the more i've lost what's inside me - and ended up empty. and i bet the longer i live, the emptier, the more worthless i'll become. something's wrong with this picture. life isnt supposed to turn out like this.

its always nice to have something to look forward to so, for the mean time, i'll just look forward to pay day and the genting trip. (:

florence surprised me with birthday cakes out of the blue! thanks so much haahah thats the first birthday cake (: thanks so much babe! its so sweet of you to do that!

18 JULY : StarHub dinner and dance 2008

was feeling rather moody today. and i was greeted by the weirdest thing ever upon arriving my desk at work!

there's always weird things appearing on my desk. LOL

initially i was really having second thoughts about whether should i really go because after we end work, its 9pm but im glad i did went though haha.

its held at raffles convention center. with about 2000 people there eric, thomas, kenn and i had a hard time finding our tables. =/

food was alright, the emcee was entertaining (to the extent that eric aka dog and me were like gossiping abt how we rather listen to the emcee than watch the magic show) hahaha. the best part was the lucky draw. there's like a macbook for the 9th prize wowwow and eric was uber lucky! he got the 8th prize which was 2.8k travel voucher. GOODNESS. i can go to japan with that! his employee id number is real lucky i guess. 8774. mine was 8784. JUST ONE DIGIT DIFFERENCE! it could have been me winning! okay im so gonna stop sulking =/

there you go! dog with his prize! he probably gotten all his luck from me since he's sitting beside me hahahah. (okay, am just kidding. this year is really his lucky year =/). he's really shining at work (:

the whole dinner and dance ended at about 12am. EVERYONE was like elaving at the sametime that you cant get cab and so we (eugene, eric and me) walked to funan and called a cab. gossip and crap along the whole journey hahah. the cab fare was horrible. the total price was 52bucks. like from funan TO yishun TO woodlands then TO jurong. wow wow its real ex!

all in all, it was quite a nice experience.

florence sms-ed me some weird message askin me what's my shoe size at 9am plus! =/ i was sleeping so soundly can! hahahah after that i couldnt get back to sleep and nanny arrive shortly after presenting me with birthday cake, hong baos and present! the present's in the form of a gld necklace. i'll probably never wear them though but i really do love the present very much. (: i love nanny the most. afterall she's the one who looked after me when i was young.

im officially a permanent staff of starhub as of 1st july 2008. =/ which means official pay decrease (yes, the pay is really pathetic HAHAHAH). work was horrible on friday. real horrible. its time like this where people just lose their temper and snaps at one another easily. yes, i really hate that. you're doing your job, im doing my job too and i hate it when people just snaps at me, really, its not like i love asking for their help all the time. i hate that i don't know a lot of stuffs. snapping at me made me feel so demoralised (with myself that is).

mummmy's planning a birthday celebration with all my relatives for my 21st birthday. seriously i think i've outgrown that stage of life. i don't like blowing out candles from cake, i dont like birthday songs. haha i just want a quiet birthday with a few close friends thats all. but i still gotta thank her for even organizing it. i'm not a really good daughter to begin with.

1. i spend waaay tooo much money. (and i wasted a lot of her money too)

2. i made her worry about me at times when she caught me crying in my room and yet i refused to tell her what's wrong. i NEVER share my problems with her. =/

3. i don't excel in anything. be it sports or studies

in the midst of some major changes at work! =/ some decisions made at work which im afraid i'd end up regretting and and quite a few people are leaving SOON! converting from temp staff to perm staff definitely means pay decrease along with heavier responsibilities. having much responsibility sometimes takes a rather heavy toll. being kids we never had to worry about a single thing in the world, except our morning cartoons like sesame street and barney. i want those days back. ):

when im supposed to submit my educational certs to the human resource, i realised i've yet to collect my o level cert! it's been like 5 years since i had my o-level. i wonder if the cert is still in school? =/

haha somehow this manutd thing turned into a message board for people all over the office to leave their messages behind. first it was "you'll never walk alone" and now this "goodbye ronaldo". wowwowwow is manutd really that horrible?

its wednesday! and im kinda glad i managed to change to afternoon shift hehe and im soooo looking forward to supper after work with my 2 beloved girls at starhub. :D and florence was so sweet to write a "card" for the shuwei and me! well i certainly like hand-written stuffs like that as they never fail to warm my heart every single time. thanks so much girl!

i had some really busy time at work this whole week! what with the 2 perm staffs going on overseas leave. i wanna have a vacation too! i've been LIFE's been REAL LIFE-LESS haha i've been working D shift (1130am-9pm) for almost 2 consecutive week! hahha like how am i gonna shop or meet up with friends? all i do nowadays is spend the night after work online with my "lamborghini" (its actually what i call my external harddisk since its those kinda flashy yellow like those lamborghinis). YAWNS!

its my OFF day tomorrow! BUT im going back for OT! im kinda engrossed in work lately. :D

woolala! finally i have like 2 straight consecutive off days from work! its been soooooo long since i had them. weekends never feels like weekends when you're working in starhub. =/

went to the PC show at suntec today! roars it was like real crowded. i hate crowds! crowds make me sleepy! :O no wonder i kept yawning!

got my external harddisk! (like finally) & its YELLOW in colour ! heheheheeh now i do not have to worry about my crappy laptop dying on me anymore and losing all my songs and data! :D more CSI and j-dorama please!

YES! shuwei agreed with me that the germany sweater is nice! so we'll PROBABLY get it together along with florence too. heheheheh. i dont support germany but you gotta admit they have like the nicest jersey and all. lol. go spain and netherlands! euro is sooooo amazing and unpredictable! hahah 2 of my colleagues at work actually bet 100bucks on croatia (for the match between croatia and germany) and the odds was like 5.9 and crap! croatia won the match. now they're reallyyyy rich!

apologies for the sad case entry previously. everything is alright now (i guess). it's times like these i really know who my true friends are, being there for me to keep me smiling and making sure i don't constantly cry. the few of you know who you are, and i am so grateful. my fear is subsiding, i've never smiled so much in so long. i love you all so so much you guys have no idea. really you all are my blessings in life. without you, i wouldn't be me. :)

work's been real tiring thanks to maxmobile. =/ but starhub's not that bad now with florence and shuwei there. we did almost everything together ; walking to work together sometimes, eating lunch together sometimes when we're in the same shift and going to the toilet together all the time. had tons of fun with the 2 of them! SUN-TANNING + SHOPPING SOON PLEASE! :D

i dont think it ever gets easy to know people are bad-mouthing you behind your back and not get upset and hurt. (well just some random thoughts)
